Pak's dominance keeps on going with yet another ODI series win Pakistan's dominance in ODIs continued after they secured a nine-run win over the Netherlands in the third and last one-day international (ODI) at the Rotterdamse Schoorsteen, DTB International Cricket Ground.
An extraordinary bowling performance by Nassem ensured Netherlands remained restricted to 197 runs off 49.2 overs, handing Pakistan yet another ODI series victory.
Pakistan made 206/6 in their 50 overs, riding on a 98-run opening partnership between Ahmad Shahzad and Babar Azam (57) while Mohammad Hafeez scored an unbeaten 81 runs off 88 balls.
While it was a pretty good run chase by Pakistan, they had some nervy moments towards the end of their innings. Two fours and two sixes by captain Sarfraz Ahmed off Chris Jordan took Pakistan to within 18 runs of the target before he was out by Wesley Barresi for 29 runs.
Meanwhile, Shah's five wicket haul helped him pick up the man of the match award.
The Pakistani bowlers have been consistent throughout the series. They have bowled a lot of good deliveries, out of which they have managed to grab wickets. They bowled some very tight overs in the death. Pakistan has a very good bowling lineup and their bowlers deserve all the credit for their brilliant performance across the series.
